How to set up

From box to playing in four steps.

No app, no account, no subscription. Just plug in and go.

01 - Connect

Plug the SnapVinyl box into your laptop with the included USB-C cable.

02 - Drop your songs

Open the 9 numbered folders on your laptop and drag any MP3 file into each one.

03 - Stick the chips

Each chip is numbered - stick it on the back of your favourite disc. Done.

04 - Place and play

Drop a disc on the box and your song plays instantly. Lift it off and it stops.

Everything you need to know

How long does the battery last?
Up to 8 hours of continuous playback on a full charge. It recharges over USB-C in about 2 hours.
What if I want more than 9 songs?
You can rewrite any disc anytime, so you have practically unlimited songs across the 9 discs. For bigger collections, extra disc sets are available in the shop.
Does it work with Mac and Windows?
Yes, both. Plug it in over USB-C and it appears as an external drive with 9 folders. No drivers or software to install.
How do the NFC chips work?
You get 9 numbered chips. Stick each one on the back of any disc - the number matches the folder on your laptop where that MP3 lives. Position on the disc does not matter.
Which audio formats are supported?
MP3 only. Other formats will not be recognised, but you can convert any audio file to MP3 for free using online tools.
How do I change a song later?
Plug the box into your laptop with the USB-C cable, open the folder, delete the old MP3 and drag in a new one. Takes about 30 seconds.
Do I need Spotify or any subscription?
No. SnapVinyl runs entirely offline. Load your MP3s once and you are set - no internet, no app, no subscription. The music is yours.
